Level 3 Award in Emergency Tree work Operations 002105 (formerly CS50)

This course is for anyone wishing to deal with individual windblown trees or snapped trees.

Objectives:

  • Be able to promote health and safety and industry good practice
  • Be able to carry out emergency treework operations
  • Understand relevant health and safety legislation and industry good practice
  • Understand how to carry out emergency treework operations

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Chainsaw Trousers – Class 1 type A (front protection) or C (all around protection), Chainsaw Boots, Head Protection – to include head, ear and eye protection and Chainsaw Gloves       

 Equipment: Chainsaw, fuel, maintenance tools, 1.6 tonne winch, compactable slings and auxiliary equipment, hammer & wedges, rope pulling system (rope, slings, connectors)
