Ground Based Chainsaw
All training is carried out by instructors who are registered and quality assured with Lantra Awards.
The courses offered include:
- Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting ITA
- Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting CS30
- Small Tree Felling (8inch diameter max) ITA
- Small Tree Feliing (15 inch diameter max ) CS31
- Medium Tree Felling (30inch diameter max) CS32
- Individual Windblown Trees CS34
- Utlitiy Pole Felling CS43
- Felling a Standing Stem CS44
ITA is the abbreviation 'Integrated Training and Assessment' for those who do not wish to use a chainsaw for felling trees greater than 8 inches in diameter.
CS units are independently assessed through NPTC/City & Guilds.
