About Us

As you travel through the website you will hopefully be experiencing the uniqueness of Blake Training.  We have integrated our separate skill areas and years of experience into one training company.

Rob has been a practicising arborist for twenty three years.  This work has been both in the UK and abroad.  Rob has been a registered instructor and assessor since 1997 and is currently a Technical Standards Verifier for Lantra Awards and  Principlal Verifier for Chainsaw Operations with NPTC/City & Guilds.

Sarah has been carrying out food hygiene training and related subjects since 1988.  Other areas of employment have been in the food Industry, the inspection of food premises, food laboratory work and in teaching Food Technology.  Sarah has been involved in catering throughout her life, and in latter years running a conference centre and now with offering food for the training centre. 

As we both are still active within our separate industries, our training is always up to date, practical and 'user friendly' because we are fully aware of the difficulties in integrating training with production.
